Mohsen Ehsan, M.D.
Mohsen Ehsan, MD, is a rheumatologist, licensed in both the states of Indiana and Kentucky, who graduated from Tehran University School of Medicine in 1969, where he also completed his pediatrics residency. He most notably worked as a research physician for the World Health Organization from 1971 – 1972. Dr. Ehsan completed an additional residency in straight medicine at the Lutheran Medical Center in Cleveland as well as rheumatology and clinical immunology/connective tissue disease fellowships at Alton Ochsner Medical, New Orleans and the University of Louisville respectively. Dr. Ehsan later became a clinical instructor at the renowned University of Louisville’s Arthritis Clinic. With more than 33 years in private practice, Dr. Ehsan is a current member of the American College of Rheumatology, ISMA, GLMS. He previously served as a board member for the Kentucky Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation as well as medical director of Southern Indiana A.C.T., both for 20 years.
Carla Gamarra-Hilburn, M.D.
Carla Gamarra-Hilburn, MD, is a fellowship trained rheumatologist who graduated from the Unversidad Privada del Valle Cochabamba, Bolivia. After medical school, she completed a residency in dermatology at the Hospital Privado of Cardoba, Argentina. Upon moving to the US, Dr. Gamarra-Hilburn completed both an internal medicine residency with the University of Massachusetts and a rheumatology fellowship at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Center. She has worked extensively doing volunteer work, gaining additional experience in assisting the underserved population. Dr. Gamarra-Hilburn has presented at conferences, symposiums and has authored peer reviewed articles for clinical journals and publications on various clinical topics. She is bilingual – fluent in both English and Spanish.
Natalie Lane, F.N.P.
Natalie Lane, FNP-C, is a certified nurse practitioner who has joined Baptist Health Medical Group rheumatology practice. She obtained both her Nursing Bachelor of Science degree, graduating cum laude, and a master’s degree in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has a vast amount of healthcare experience focusing on patient care in areas such as: hospital care, cardiovascular recovery, emergency room care and rheumatology. Further she has cared for patients in all age populations and helped to treat a variety of illnesses. Natalie was a 2009 recipient of the Bloomington Hospital CVR Nursing Excellence Award and a 2013 Daisy award nominee. She is ACLS and BLS certified and is a current member of the American Associate of Nurse Practitioners and National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.
